Buhay Rizal: Doing it the Rizal Way

 

As part of its development-focused programs, the Yuchengco Group of Companies (YGC) launched in 2008 the Buhay Rizal, a values formulation program encouraging Filipinos, specially the youth, to emulate  the life of Jose Rizal, whose works and teachings remain relevant to the modern Filipino nation.

The four major components of the program are: 1.) renovation of Rizal monuments; 2.) donation of Rizal’s Noli me Tangere books to high school students; 3.) engagement program, where YGC employees participate in this initiative through donations, personal, or otherwise, and public education program through internal and external Rizalian values campaigns with the use of different communication channels.
