The AY Foundation (AYF), the philanthropic arm of the Yuchengco Group of Companies (YGC), recently concluded its 25th National Discipline Awards (NDA) by honoring hundreds of high school students who exemplified self-discipline, strong leadership, and good moral character. The event was held at the Carlos P. Romulo auditorium at the RCBC Plaza, Makati City.
Ambassador Alfonso T. Yuchengco, founder of AYF and chairman of the Yuchengco Group of Companies, highlighted in his welcome remarks the importance of valuing the youth’s significant contribution to the society. He also expressed the role of the community in building a healthy and opportunity-filled environment for the young Filipino game-changers.
Awardees, parents, school representatives, members of the YGC and AYF staff also witnessed a musical presentation showcasing the talents of the recent and past awardees of this annual recognition.
With the NDA that started in the year 1990, the AYF continues to inspire more youth to become role models and future leaders of the country.
