Yuchengco Group turns over Rizal monument, Noli books to GenSan?

The Yuchengco Group of Companies (YGC) signed an agreement with the local government of General Santos City and Lagao National High School (LNHS) to implement its continuing multi-sector campaign called Buhay Rizal Values Campaign. With the help of the local government of Gen San and the Department of Education, YGC refurbished the Rizal monument in Plaza Heneral Santos and donated over 1,000 Noli Me Tangere books to third year students of LNHS. The Buhay Rizal Values Campaign is designed to encourage more Filipinos, especially the youth, to relive the greatness of Rizal in their everyday lives. The Rizal monument in GenSan is the tenth monument to be renovated since the founding of Buhay Rizal in 2008, while LNHS is the 38th partner school to receive free Noli books.
