Honoring its service commitment to its policyholders and business partners, Bankers Assurance Corporation (BAC) disbursed the amount of P50 million as insurance claims payment to clients of MicroEnsure Philippines, an insurance broker engaged in providing insurance products to the low-income sector. Policyholders under MicroEnsure’s Alpha Program, a Fire and Calamity Assistance Insurance Program underwritten by BAC for members of Taytay sa Kauswagan, Inc. (TSKI) and Opportunity Kauswagan Bank, Inc. (OK Bank), were affected by the devastation caused by super typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan).
